What It Is

Freeloadin is a fully transparent, AI-powered resource map connecting people to free stuff — globally, anonymously, without referrals or means testing.

No vouchers. No appointments. No proving you deserve it.
Just find it, use it, add it.

Why It Exists

Most free resource directories are built by people who've never needed them. They go stale, break, get buried in council websites nobody visits, or require you to beg a professional for a referral slip before you're allowed to eat.

We built this because we got tired of it. We use it ourselves. We built it with free tools, on free infrastructure, for free. The only thing that costs anything is the domain — £1.20.

How It Works

Every pin on the map is a real place offering something real for free or close to it. Food pantries, tool libraries, community fridges, free legal help, digital access, education, transport — if it exists and it's genuinely accessible, it belongs on the map.

Resources are submitted by the community, verified by AI, and moderated by humans when needed. No resource requires a referral to access. No user account is needed to search.

The Infrastructure

Freeloadin costs almost nothing to run because it's built entirely on free infrastructure — Cloudflare Pages, Supabase free tier, open source AI. Running costs are logged publicly on the Transparency page. No wages. No overhead creep. Just the machine running.
